It was not a joke. Trump really did sell off sponsorships for $75,000 to $200,000 to the White House Egg Roll.

This is what the solicitations said:

A second flyer.

Then, there are the events.

Amazon.

Gala Games.

National Confectioners Association.

International Fresh Produce.

New York Stock Exchange.

There were some other cartoonists who had points.

Golden egg. Trump should have thought of that.

Then, a digital artist's impression of the event.

Surely this didn't need to be done. Trump promised that every dime would go to the White House Historical Association. Right.
