Trump to 9 Million Struggling Americans: Happy Easter...Now, Live on LESS [1]

As if a rocky economy barreling toward stagflation (or worse, courtesy of the Trump tariffs) wasn’t enough, millions of Americans are about to get hit with a financial meteor.
The Trump administration’s Department of Education has decided to resume “involuntary collections” of student loans in default, something that hasn’t taken place since 2020. Currently, there are 5 million borrowers who have fallen behind on their payments, with another 4 million in what the DOE classifies as “late-stage delinquency” (i.e., 90 days late).
According to the article from CNBC, those who are impacted will receive email notifications in the weeks to follow, so please spread the word as collections will involve garnishing income tax refunds, Social Security/other federal benefits, and even the salaries of federal employees (assuming DOGE hasn’t taken the hatchet to their jobs).
I’ve been saying it for some time now: The next economic correction is going to be really, really bad...and this development stands to cripple NINE MILLION PEOPLE financially at the worst possible time.
The orange menace is on a crusade to ruin the lives of millions. This is just the latest example of his disregard for the lives of those who are obviously struggling.
