The “First They Came” poem might not be understandable to simpletons who either support Trump or who are too complacent to understand the threat of fascism rising in the USA. “That poem is about Nazi Germany! It ain’t got nothin’ to do with America today!”
With that in mind, I created a modern equivalent for today’s situation, which I hope could be understood by everyone.

People who have lived in (other) totalitarian nations have seen this movie before. We Americans are in danger; especially if too few of us understand the danger that we are in.
