The legend of Bigfoot seems to have originated with American Indian mythology as well as the folklore of the European “Wild Man” stories. Some people have dedicated a large portion of their lives to finding Bigfoot, or at least finding credible evidence of the existence of this elusive creature. The North American Bigfoot Center Museum, Boring, Oregon, has exhibits on the evidence for Bigfoot as well as the Bigfoot hoaxes.

While many museums emphasize artifacts, the Bigfoot Center Museum is filled with posters.

Shown above: making Bigfoot footprints.

Shown above is a witness drawing from Port Angeles, Washington, showing the size of Bigfoot compared to a human.

The pamphlet shown above tells of the 1924 Ape Canyon incident.

The sasquatch model shown above was made by Unit 70 Studios in Columbus, Ohio. The company, which specializes in Halloween-themed props and models, based the appearance of Baby Murphy on eyewitness reports.

According to the Museum:

“Sasquatch hands are very different than human hands. In sasquatches, the fingers are proportionally shorter than in humans, and the fingers are broader.”
