Welcome to an open thread.
Just a little original content. I attended the “Not on Our Watch” rally and march yesterday. After “Hands Off” two weeks ago, where the participation estimate was 12,000 protesters, I was wondering if it would be possible to draw as many people. It was estimated that 3,000 people attended the rally at Waterfront Park. The sound system was definitely not up to the task, unfortunately. I suppose the challenge of pulling together all of the necessary resources in a period of 2 weeks was just too much to expect. However, I would estimate that more than 3,000 participated in the march itself (at least it seems like that to me). I’ll end this with my few photos from the event.
