The Apprentice, a ‘reality’ television show created by British TV producer Mark Burnett, was about a fictional real estate developer, a wildly successful self made New York billionaire named Donald Trump.



Cast in the lead role was the real world Donald Trump, a crude, witless trust fund baby whose failed businesses were so numerous (Trump Steaks. Trump Mortgage. Trump:The Game. Trump Magazine. Trump University. Trump Ice. The New Jersey Generals. The Trump Network. Trumped! Trump Taj Mahal. Trump’s Castle. Trump Plaza Casinos. Trump Plaza hotel. Trump Entertainment Resorts.) and improbable (A casino? Seriously?), that he became America's all time worst businessman.



The tv show was not merely popular. It also made people believe that the TV Trump was the real Trump, totally eclipsing his numerous failures.



Now as we watch the real world Donald Trump destroy the economy and shattered the lives of countless people across the political spectrum from never trump or nation to Maga country, the nation in the world are seeing that reality TV can be as unreal as it gets.
