ArtKos: Saturday Painting Palooza Vol.1026 Broken Ribs Edition [1]

Hello again painting fans.

This week I will be starting a new painting. I'm going to attempt something totally original. :::cough::: Actually, this arose when I fell on the ice and broke three ribs. I was stuck in the house and decided to have some fun. I would attempt my take on what is perhaps the world's most famous painting, seen below.

I've used my usual acrylic paints on a 5x7 inch canvas panel.

I started my sketch using my usual grid, duplicating the grid I made over a copy of the photo itself. Over this I added some preliminary paint. And then I kept going.

The result is seen directly below. (Don’t laugh too much.)

I'll have a new one next week. See you then.
