Why trump wont let Abrego Garcia go [1]

Intuitively, one would think it would be an obvious and correct move for trump to order the release of Abrego Garcia. But if trump lets Abrego Garcia go, it will be an admission that the administration’s entire approach is fundamentally flawed. If Abrego Garcia deserves due process, don’t all the prisoners in El Salvador? So arguably trump will never release him.

this means that we can expect over the next years, Abrego Garcia will remain a rallying point for midterm and presidential elections. Many Democrats will emphasize the injustice, and Republicans will continue to smear him.

How will voters react? A little unclear, right. There are many voters as we have seen who support racism and xenophobia, and will believe trumps lies.

if there is a bright side for Abrego Garcia personally , it seems like El Salvador would want to keep him alive and healthy. Unless trump orders otherwise. But that would seem problematic for even trump to put a hit on this innocent guy.
