YES: Van Hollen Beats the Dictators [1]

He did it. He pulled it off. He did what the MAGA regime says can’t be done. He pushed and pushed against the denials of the Salvadoran dictator until he got what he came for: a meeting with his illegally reditioned constituent.
Two days ago, Senator Chris Van Hollen posted this:

Authoritarian rule is only possible if we give up. Push back, and the MAGA regime proves to be a house of cards.
Trump is historically unpopular. He constantly brags about his “landslide win” because he knows, full well, that he only just barely won the popular vote and only just barely won the presidency. His majorities in Congress are even more fragile. A few defections, a few special elections, and they dissipate like a bad dream.
We will win this thing. We, the People, will prevail.
Thank you, Senator Van Hollen, for standing up to the bullies. This is one more victory, one more beam of light, on the way to the next election. Truth will prevail. Justice will prevail. With hard work and steadfast solidarity, We the People will prevail.
