Then, on the rest of the menu, DOGE cuts pulled Americorps volunteers out of the middle of natural disaster jobs; Head Start received nearly $1 billion less in federal money, causing some preschools for low-income children to close; and, Trump issued an order to stop construction on a major offshore wind project to power more than 500,000 New York homes.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where wars in the middle east have plunged Egypt’s revenue from the Suez Canal by almost two thirds; and, Russia’s top court lifted the terror group designation on Afghanistan’s Taliban.
