Trump demands UK repeal hate speech laws in order to get a trade deal over the line [1]

Trumpian foreign policy and trade agreements apparently include erasing human rights, because the GOP has been jonesing to turn back all civil rights laws. The Brits aren’t immune to such foolishness.

The UK Supreme Court has unanimously decided that the definition of sex under the Equality Act 2010 refers solely to biological sex, and does not include people with a Gender Recognition Certificate. Erasing gender expression doesn’t stop there as Project 2025 wants to influence UK law as well.

Odd how fearing the erosion of free speech means eliminating its protections.
