Then I don't think you understand what's been going on. Roberts, particularly, has been the tip of the spear in this authoritarian/fascist coup for the last 20 years. Every ruling they have made - from Citizens United to the completely illogical presidential immunity decree - was done in preparation for this moment. It's all been 'poster boarded' at some point in the past; with one thing leading to the next, and then to the next, "and then we'll rule this way right about here", and then... That's how we got here, on the verge of an irreversible change to our system of government. On a goddamned poster board in a Heritage Foundation meeting room.
So no. Scotus is not going to do anything, at least anything that has any real impact. Sure they're going to play their part in the overall performance - reading straight from the 'susancollinsconcern' script, maybe throw in a frowny face for effect - but nothing substantive will come. Because they (the six) are an integral part of it.
