To try and get Abrego Garcia out of that penal colony masquerading as a country. It has the highest incarceration rate in the world. (The state of Louisiana is not far behind). Van Hollen is showing great courage and guts. Best of luck in his mission and hope he stays safe.

UPDATE: Van Hollen met with the vice-president but was denied a meeting with Abrego Garcia, or even a phone call. He says that U.S. embassy personnel told him that they have received no instructions to “facilitate” Abrego Garcia’s return. And that the U.S. is paying El Salvador to incarcerate him there.
