The USDA is eliminating a program that connects farmers and food pantries, says a New Mexico food bank, The Food Depot.
So, Trump is deporting farm workers and Musk is ending programs that connect farmers giving their surplus food to food pantry’s is saving money?
This is rich people cluelessness.
People are going to go hungry.
Children are going to go hungry.
In the richest fucking country in the world.
All of this “efficiency” is going to cost us more than a fortune.
It’s going to cost us a future generation of malnourished, poorly educated kids who feel they have no future.
That makes for trouble down the road for the country.
