This is the kind of messaging the Dems should be doing NOW. Simple. Doesn’t call out Trump; he’s largely bullet proof and will be top of mind to people anyway. In any case, the Republicans are the ones to point the finger at now because of the mid-terms. And they are Trump’s enablers.

Other simple messaging could include, for example:

Thanks to Republicans you now need to be on Twitter(X) to find out about your Social Security.

Like an economy that’s going into a black hole? Keep voting Republican.

Looking forward to paying more? Thank Republicans.

You get the idea. Simple, hard-hitting. Aside from Dem politicians repeating this kind of messaging ad nauseam, instead of constantly talking (whining about) policy and process as usual, these kinds of messages need to flood social media and short ads on radio/tv. They need to be hammering this now and not wait “until people are paying attention.” Get their attention for once. Proactive, not passive for once.

OK, cheerleaders, I’ve got my helmet and pads on for the incoming.
