I Just Saw The Stupidest Thing Ever On CNN [1]

I was going through right-wing Xitter (keep your friends and enemies closer) and I came across a clip from CNN in which a right-wing guest named Batya Ungar-Sargon attempted to explain why the working class abandoned the out of touch elites in the Democratic Party for a “populist” like Donald Trump. What followed is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard:

"I've been thinking a lot about the 10 million Americans who lost their homes in the 2008 financial crisis, and how President Obama's first act in office was to give $700 billion to the banks that caused it, including $30 billion in bonuses to the crooks who organized it. And I'm thinking about how those very Americans saw a president pick Wall Street over main street and what they saw this whole week was a President willing to go out there and fight for the forgotten men and women of this heartland and take on the entire international global order for them."
Now some of those out of touch liberal elites might point out “facts” like Obama did not become President until January 20, 2009:

Those out of touch liberal elites need to wake up! Obama became President on January 20, 2009. He then hopped into his time machine and traveled back to 2008. He then forged Dubya’s signature on the bailout bill. Think of how many good things Obama could have done with this time machine. Think of how many wars he could have stopped. Think of many diseases he could have prevented. Instead he used it to bailout the crooks on Wall Street.
All kidding aside this clip shows why Democrats are having so much difficulty winning. People used to be entitled to different opinions. Now they are entitled to different facts. Someone can get on CNN and claim that Obama’s first act as President was to bailout Wall Street even though that happened months before he was even inaugurated. There is no way to reason with people who are too lazy, stupid, or dishonest to acknowledge easily provable facts.
