Economic “hardships”

Most Americans have NO idea of what hardship entails, economic or otherwise. Most think “living paycheck to paycheck” is hardship, no my dearies I got news for you getting a paycheck is not living in economic hardships, even having 2 jobs is not economic hardship, hell muskrat has 10 jobs. I can feel the flames of your anger.

And before some fake outrage court circuits your brain and induces temporary reading comprehension failures I’m not talking about those who are truly poor.

You are all the same people who lost your mind over a shortage of baby formula while standing in front of rows upon endless rows of all varieties of milk filming yourselves on the latest phones having a melt down because no baby formula, which some of you then went out to buy at the low low cost of 600 US$!

Your stores are filled with products that range from cents on the dollar to mucho dineros, meaning you have freaking choices in what you buy no matter how much the prices are raised! You have closets so full of clothing you can’t even see some of them! Yet bemoan loudly “I’ve got nothing to wear” (and that goes for all genders).

Economic hardships don’t mean the same thing everywhere and most of you are unaware of your goddam privilege of having choices! Your talk of economic hardships is ohh sneakers are going to go from 150$ to 300$, iPhone are going to go from 1,200$ to almost 3K! The new Nintendo switch has been delayed. OMG clothes are going to go up so much! Did your closet burn down overnight?

Do you know what most of you are saying? Online or in the media? You’re not talking about not being able to buy the bare necessities, you’re mostly talking about how much more they are going to cost, that’s it! (again not talking about those who are truly poor). I’ve heard maybe a handful of people or less talk about trying to help those less fortunate. Ain’t that a kicker.

Try having no money to buy any kind of food, no job open to even apply for, no planes landing in your country for about 1 year, meaning no meds coming in, no aid coming in, try having the sparse aide that was there cut, try having your ports closed and when you’ve added all that up add a few thousand gang members burning your houses down so that in 1 year you’ve had to relocate 3 times with only the fucking clothes on your back, having all your schools close, having electricity and internet maybe once a week if you live in a lucky area. Try that fucking economic hardship that is Haiti for the last 4 fucking years. (or Ukraine or the Congo or Gaza, or any other country under real hardships).

But stop whining about not being able to buy this or that or having to stock up on food and be goddam fucking grateful you can actually stock the goddam food! You blab about how billionaires don’t know what you’re going through as you are also blinded to what those not as lucky as you are going through!
