National Protest Poster Contest [1]

In my newly released book Willful Ignorance and Stupid Political Decisions, I offer 14 major strategies for protesting the Trump/Musk debacle. One of the planks argues that those of us fighting the good fight must exploit the attention value of novelty and humor to grab the media’s focus. As an offshoot of this strategy, why not have Indivisible or some progressive organization create a National Protest Poster Contest. Find a wealthy donor who might pledge $1 million as prize money (that should grab media attention) and divide the contest into several categories, such as most creative, most humorous, most artistic, best slogan, best mocking, etc. Keeping relentless pressure on the oligarchic/authoritarian forces at work to destroy democracy requires constant originality (novelty). This is just one such idea.
