I don't have a lot to say. I just can't do this anymore. Voting for these democrats who simply are climbers and career opportunist. Who play tough when the wind is at their backs but start playing the "moderate" when it's time to walk into it.
Today it was Gretchen Whitmer's turn to blow herself up. You see, Governor Whitmer is just oh so tired of the "partisanship." Apparently, she isn't too tired of legal residents being disappeared by Donald Chump's masked goons. Or migrants being whisked away in the middle of the night to be beaten and humiliated in some third world gulag.
Oh no! Let's go see the fascist ! It's time to go to the White House and visit the President. The same White House that is currently looking into "legal" avenues that might be "available" to send even US CITIZENS to the same third world gulag. The same White House discussing the ways Chump can serve a third term. Because the Guv'na is just soooo tired of the "partisanship". You betcha ! She actually thought she could stand in the same room with Trump and not be made to bend the knee for him. But that's exactly what happened.
I guess she thought she was there to look like a "problem solver" or to measure the drapes or to discuss tariffs. You know, the tariffs that almost caused an economic Chernobyl by causing a meltdown in the bond market. And to talk about all the ways she agrees with this fascists. Just trying to find the "center", don't cha know.
Instead she got PLAYED. He used her as a Price is Right turn key model and photo-op prop while he signed executive orders to go after his enemies. As she stood in the background. Looking real stupid.
She looked small. She looked weak. She is not built for this moment. Because she doesn't understand that you dont fight fascist because you will win. You fight fascist because they are fascist ! Donald Trump is a pure sociopath. If he invites you to the White House it is for the purpose of using you for his purposes. PERIOD. How could she not know that ??? Did she not see the Zelensky visit ?
But fear not, Gretchen. I'm sure you can show up on Morning Joe and cry us a centrist river with Joe and Mika while you scream at us about how we just don't understand your particular brand of Midwestern centrist genius. Joe and Mika will be sure to give you lessons. They're the best at it.
Guys, I just can't anymore. I'm done showing up for these kinds of candidates. No more Clintons. No more Obamas. I. Am. Done. If you don't remind me of Sanders or AOC or Warren or Pritzger or Walz then KICK ROCKS. I want a fighter. I want someone who believes in what I believe in and WILL NOT COMPROMISE.
The good thing is at least, like when Newsome made sweet podcast love with that Charlie Kirk nazi, she saved me the time and just ended her presidential campaign before it ever started. Talk about not being able to read the room !!!!!!!
