But what exactly is he doing about it? We shall see.
In February 1945, the city of Dresden, a major German industrial and administrative hub during the odious Nazi regime of Adolf Hitler was the focus of an intense Allied bombing campaign which in its time became a symbol of the excesses of strategic(?) bombing. The relentless bombing of Dresden brought to the world’s attention how horrific the tactic was, and spurred debate about whether it was appropriate to create a fire storm which killed an estimated 25,000 civilians in order to flatten a city, even in times of war.
The world was appalled in February 1945 and ought to be even more appalled in 2025 as Russia unleashes a fire storm of bombs on innocent civilians in cities all over Ukraine in its unprovoked war of revanchist conquest.
ADAPTABLE INDOMITABLE UKRAINE will stand and will survive Russia and Putin’s worst. The People of Dresden rose from the ashes of 1945. So will all of the people of Ukraine in 2025.
