A concentration camp network may be funded for the US, and there are already labor camps in the Prison-Industrial-Complex where work gets off-shored at the state-level. Then there’s the Madagascar Plan history of resettling targeted groups. In all these instances citizens and non-citizens were involved.
x The Trump administration is seeking to spend $45 billion to expand immigration detention. Immigration detention is costly and inhumane. Instead of expanding an abusive system, the US should prioritize humane and rights-respecting alternatives to detention.
