I am going to be doing Lessons 99 to 105 this next week. On to this week’s discussion.

You see yourself as a ridiculous parody on God’s creation; weak, vicious, ugly and sinful, miserable and beset with pain. Such is your version of yourself; a self divided into many warring parts, separate from God, and tenuously held together by its erratic and capricious maker, to which you pray. It does not hear your prayers, for it is deaf. It does not see the oneness in you, for it is blind. It does not understand you are the Son of God, for it is senseless and understands nothing.

Why would I put a snark tag? Some parts of AICM are hard to read.The paragraphs before and after tell that it is just snark. But still. Accurate snark. Sometimes it can shake you up.
In this last week’s 7 lessons we are shifting. Previously we were asked to experience loveliness by leaving our grievances forgotten. Now we are starting to be told that a missing ego is not oblivion. The ego is illusion to cover reality. Like grievances as experienced in the previous 100 or so lessons but much harder to drop.
The Workbook does go with the Text. These lessons remind me of Chapter 23 The War Against Yourself. And in that Chapter, especially in the last section Above The Battleground.
The Course is circular and repetitive. Chapter 23 and Lesson 192
Therefore, hold no one prisoner. Release instead of bind, for thus are you made free. The way is simple. Every time you feel a stab of anger, realize you hold a sword above your head. And it will fall or be averted as you choose to be condemned or free. Thus does each one who seems to tempt you to be angry represent your savior from the prison house of death. And so you owe him thanks instead of pain.
An interesting thing, there are no crystals in A Course in Miracles. A Course in Miracles is not the Bible or trying to be. There are Gemstones in the Bible (Wikipedia).
