The Call should be "Resign!" [1]

All the signs are nice, some witty, some funny, some cute and some gross, but the message shouldn’t be Hands Off, the message should be for the GOP and its leader to resign. It seems that y’all don’t fully realize that the only way to get rid of fascism is to uproot it and that’s why we asked you to vote them out on Nov 5th.

The reason why it should be the GOP + its leader (I refuse to say his name) is because there’s an entire apparatus propping up the unfit depraved wannabe king. If we remove only him, the VP takes over and the carnage continues. In all my years on this earth, there are only two ways I’ve seen dictators flee, one is violent protests, the other is a complete country shut down (hospitals being the only exceptions).

Y’all not ready for that, but maybe if 100 million of you took to the streets with “resign” signs instead, maybe that might have an effect. Because I haven’t seen them even flinch about the Hands-off protests. Sometimes I’m left to wonder if you realize the power given to you by the phrase “A government of the people, for the people, by the people?” because most of what I see is you ceding your powers just like the GOP led congress is doing.

I can already hear the “but the elected officials”… what about them? The house dems and senate combine aren’t 300 people for starters, and that voting officials in power does not mean you relinquish your own power to affect outcomes. How many times have I heard “there are more of us then there are of them” fine… where you at? Why were there not 100 million people in those streets on April 5th?

My question to y’all is can you do what it takes? Are you prepared to do what it takes? For as long as it takes? Once you stop being scared only, and start adding outrage and anger to your mix, maybe then you’ll be ready. There is only one possible savior in this scenario “We the people”.

For if you only achieve a modicum of success with Hands off, you’ll still have to contend with most of the rest of the world turning their backs on you. You’ll still have to contend with fascism. So unless all you care about is; them not touching your health care and social security, you’ll still be under a dictatorship. And that’s something most of you still seem not to grasp.

I don’t want to make this too long, but you’ve got to understand, you’re not dealing with rogue republicans, you’re dealing with a fascist takeover and Hands Off might have been fine for a bad policy, but it really won’t do anything against fascism.
