Now's a Good Time to Pressure the Republican House to Stop Trump's Attempt to Tank the Economy [1]

Another Great Depression? Is one possibly coming?
Never mind a recession, the danger of what looks more like a coming Second Great Depression is a very threat. Trump is known for being a pathological narcissist and doubling down on foolish, moronic economic projects. He has, after all, been bankrupt 6 times.
Long in the Making, Suddenly Erupting
In addition, the Great Depressionof the 30s was long in the making but got rolling quickly and before someone like FDR was able to limit the damage. We have few mechanisms or leadership in place to prevent a quick slide off a cliff, one that could take years to recover from.
Going for Seven
Times Seven?
Trump is busy going for his seventh bankruptcy, this time for the world economy including our own. He’s intoxicated with his destructive powers and exercising his unconstitutional executive orders like a bat out of hell.
It matters not what his motives are at this point, although it would not surprise me that he’s doing Putin’s biding. But all that matters now are the deadly results of his tariffs, exposing how easy it can be to tank a market driven capitalist economy in record time.
Another Great Depression is Possible

A depression is not a prediction. But it is a real possible consequence of Trump tariffs. He’s light years worse than having a Herbert Hoover type, the president who preceded FDR . We have no rational or competent presidents in the wings like FDR or Barack Obama waiting to come to the market’s rescue.
Only J.D. Vance
All we have is an almost as bad VP, J.D. Vance, if Trump gets yanked off the stage somehow, waiting in the shadows. Along with a Republican House full of cowards, opportunists and a collection of mindless loyalists equally as stupid as Trump, if not more so.
The question becomes will the House also go down with the ship, loyal to their demented Captain Ahab ( pursuer of the great white supremacist whale ) as they tank the entire world’s capitalist economy?
Arsenic Laden “Medicine”

I believe it’s time, and hopefully efforts may be already happening behind the scenes, to harpoon the great White Supremacist Wale. Whatever pressures the Democrats have at their disposal should be brought to bear on the Republicans before it’s too late.
It’s time to strike while the proverbial iron is hot. When ultra right extremist Charles Koch launches, through a front group, an attack law suit against Trump’s illegal tariffs, you know he and the Republicans are in a heap of trouble.
By any Means Necessary?
Certainly the huge April 5th turnouts across the entire country are perhaps the biggest card to emphasize, and can and should be used to exert as much pressure as possible.
As well as matters or skeletons in the closet we may not even be aware of. A bit of bluffing, such as they have something like a Moscow Trump pee tape hidden in a CIA vault, would be OK with me too. It might happen to be a real incident he’s being blacked mailed for. A risky step if the story was bs, but if they think something like that really happened . . . why not try? It’s political warfare, isn’t it.
And almost anything goes in political warfare.

Partial Success?
Dumping Trump doesn’t mean complete success, but at least Vance might be a much weaker tyrant minus the tariffs. If we had parliamentary rules, now would be a perfect time to call for an election.
But we can’t.
Whether by impeachment, the 25th Amendment, or pressuring Trump to resign like Nixon, Trump’s arsenic laden “medicine” must not be swallowed.
Will Trump “blink”?
The Art of the Blink?
Some, perhaps many, believe Trump will back off the tariffs and “blink.” But there’s no guarantee that he will, especially if assorted Moscow oligarchs and Putin are his blackmailing puppet masters.
Since he’s been all over the place on tariffs, he may feel he now has to stick to his guns, and perhaps maybe not get in trouble Vlad and the oligarchs.
Only time will tell. []
