Welcome back to Monday!
Trump was away on a long weekend, distracted by extra golf, which is just fine! These days, he tends only to make weekend “news” when he blabs to reporters on his way to and from his weekend jaunts. So that’s still really only the length of two flights. He used to cause more trouble on weekends, but now he’s semi-retired and semi-out-of-it.
Everyone else was busy this weekend, too! Some in the financial sector were busy producing their own cope-ium, insisting that the impending tariff doom was really a Very Strongly savvy negotiating position.
Others in the normie sector were out in the public square, often with very clever and biting signage expressing their discontentment with Trump’s wanton destruction.
Greg Dworkin will be back with us as is customary on Mondays. He doesn’t like to leave us alone with a day he can’t trust.
