OR, what are we going to do, now that we are at war? Both sides see that now. None of us wanted this.
We have described the scene unfolding before us over and over again, each day a further rendition of the chant. Look at what they’re doing! Look at what they’re doing! We are caught in a loop. What is to be done?
There is a local Democratic precinct organization in every state, and that organization must become proactive and register Democrats to vote, giving them all the assistance they need in states with regressive voter registration laws . This is the number one task of the Democratic Party now, and the Democratic National Committee needs to focus on that and organize it now, and publicize it so the effort and resistance against it that will surely arise from the Right can be overcome.
Unfortunately, the DNC is dead. Its incompetence is proven beyond doubt. Democrats better get over being in denial of the data. Since the top in 2008, it’s been straight downhill to the crater Democrats are in now. We’ll see if the DNC can resurrect itself.
But you can get involved in local politics. Find out where and when the local Parties meet and go. Even if you are a Republican who sees their Party has morphed into a Frankenstein, go to reform your Party.
I live in a solid blue state, which needs less attention than swing or red states. If you are in one of those states, get involved. Become the Party.
