Hiya,venthooligans! How was your weekend? There was a lot happening around here. Friday was the Giants' Home Opening Day and I went to the game with a pal I used to work with in the 80's. It's our third or fourth straight Opening Day together, a tradition at this point. She and her husband live in the same neighborhood as me, our kids grew up together, and now we're all retired, her husband works in Guest Services at the ballpark. He can't get us tickets but it's still fun to see him when we're at a game. And what a game! It went into extra innings, but the G's came out on top and won 7 games in a row, working on number 8. It was a good run! Good times.
This was fun, the guitarist from Journey shredded the National Anthem. Much better than the usual warblers.
