We're building the movement to impeach. Climb aboard! [1]

On Saturday, five million of us shouted "Hands off!" in defense of our country, our values, and our loved ones. This week, let's follow through with action. Together we can eject Mafia Don from the White House in an historic yeet. This post offers a place to begin.
Operation Anti-King has already gathered hundreds of volunteers in almost every congressional district nationwide. Those volunteers are going to start telling their members of Congress to get on the record in favor of impeachment. You can help in your district!
As the project ramps up, there will be a central location where people can see the current status of their congressperson with regard to impeachment. Beyond that, the project is going to be pretty decentralized. There will be lots of room for local creativity!
On their own initiative, volunteers will encourage their member of Congress to get on the right side of American history. They'll use every public forum that's available – letters to the editor, town halls, meetings with congressional staff, protests, block parties, impromptu parades, bake sales...
This is where active Dems from the Daily Kos community can give impeachment a real boost. We already know how to work at the grassroots level, and we don't need much hand-holding to get started.
This is what you can do:
1) Go here to tell Operation Anti-King that you're interested in helping.
2) Start looking for venues where you can comment on your congressperson's stance on impeachment. If the congressperson isn't already in favor, exert some pressure. If they're already on board, praise them for it! Suggested venues:
Letters to the editor
Congressional town halls
Community meetings
Meetings with congressional staffers
Get-togethers that you organize yourself – house parties, block parties, dance parties
A fold-out table at the local park on a sunny day
etc. (You know how to do this.)
3) Start looking for ways to bring more people into the effort. Suggestions:
If you already participate in Indivisible, encourage your fellow Indivisibles to help with the impeachment project. The grassroots approach is very similar.
Talk to the people who volunteered alongside you during previous elections.
Bring in your friends, family, neighbors, pets...
4) Check the central "whip board" occasionally for updates to your congressperson's position on impeachment and for additional news about the project.
5) Be ready with specifics. When someone asks me why the guy should be impeached, it's honestly difficult to convey the breadth and immensity of all the crimes in a simple answer. Fortunately, Operation Anti-King has been working with a constitutional scholar to draft actual legislation. It's copied at the end of this post. You can provide your member of Congress with this list of high crimes, framed in the language of impeachment.
Objections?
I hear grumbling in the back, from people who don't believe impeachment can happen. To them, I say this:
In response to adversity, impeachment will be a movement that grows. People will recognize it as the only alternative to four more years of assaults on America.
Moreover, the movement to impeach will strengthen the Democratic Party by bringing the doers to the forefront and marginalizing the posers. It gives us a nucleus to rally around much earlier than campaign season. It gives us a goal that we can accomplish this year. It gives us a specific way to save ourselves and our nation.
The push to impeach will be the defining political event of the decade. People will look back at this time and say the movement represented Americans' willingness to get things done, even while the establishment was telling them they had to continue living with the suck. Americans are not going to tolerate a tyrant.
The high crimes, listed
H. RES _____
RESOLVED, that Donald J. Trump, President of the United States, is impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors, and that the following article of impeachment be exhibited to the Senate:
ARTICLE I: TYRANNY
In his conduct of the office of President of the United States, Donald J. Trump has committed high crimes and misdemeanors, in that:
He has, by his actions and statements, sought to establish himself as tyrant, dictator, and autocrat over the People of the United States, usurping unto himself the constitutional powers of Congress, the courts, and the States, and powers illegitimate and beyond the scope of lawful government altogether.
He has claimed for himself absolute and arbitrary power, the ability to suspend laws at whim, and utterly disregarded and betrayed his oath to faithfully execute the office of President of the United States and to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.
He has denied and violated the right of the People of the United States to free and fair elections, including by bribery of voters, fraud and extortion of election officials, harassment and intimidation of election workers, and unconstitutionally ordering interference with the lawful administration of elections.
He has denied and violated the right of the People of the United States to freedom of speech, and of assembly, and to petition the government for redress of grievances, by embarking on a wide-ranging censorship campaign to punish his political opponents, chill opposition, and illegally retaliate against constitutionally protected speech, association, and expression.
He has denied and violated the right of the People of the United States to due process of law and equal protection of the laws, to fair and impartial independent courts, and to legal counsel as secured by the Fifth and Sixth Amendments.
He has sought to intimidate and coerce, by means including the threat of unlawful prosecutions and by encouraging violence and threats of violence, the Representatives and Senators in Congress.
He has repeatedly and intentionally threatened the Nation’s closest neighbors, allies, and friends with invasion, conquest, and annexation by military force, in violation of the constitutionally binding treaty obligations of the United States, and to the extraordinary detriment of national security and foreign relations, and constituting the “supreme international crime” of aggression.
He has denied and violated the separation of powers and the Constitution’s system of checks and balances, arrogating unto himself the legislative and judicial powers, including the power of Congress to levy taxes, appropriate public funds, direct the organization of officers and agencies of the executive branch, and to make laws.
He has sought to intimidate, coerce, and extort the officers of the several States, including those elected by the People thereof, and thereby sought to commandeer the several States, in violation of their sovereignty and the system of federalism established by the Constitution of the United States.
He has repeatedly and openly stated he intends to violate the presidential term limits established by the Twenty-Second Amendment, and adopted overtly monarchical aspirations and affectations, including by invocation and endorsement of theories that he is above the law or that his personal will constitutes the law.
By these actions and others, he has demonstrated his character is marked by every act which may define a tyrant, and thus he is unfit to the government of a free People. He has shown, beyond a reasonable doubt, his continuance in office is wholly incompatible with maintaining the Constitution of the United States as the supreme law of the land. He manifests daily his hostility and betrayal toward the rule of law, the sovereignty of the People, and any limits or constraints on his own power. He has sought to replace, in purpose and effect, the sacred oath of loyalty to the Constitution with an oath of loyalty to himself personally, and to his absolute, unchecked, despotic power.
In all of this, Donald J. Trump has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as President and his oath to the Constitution of the United States, and has committed the High Crime and Misdemeanor of attempting to establish himself as a lawless tyrant, to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.
Wherefore Donald J. Trump, by such conduct, warrants impeachment and trial, removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States.
