Most Awesome Protest Signs from Marin #HandsOff [1]

Thousands and thousands of people tied up traffic in little Marin County (north of the Golden Gate Bridge) on Saturday. When I saw people with signs crossing a freeway overpass a mile from the rally, I was like, oops, find a parking place quick. Lots of boomers (this is a pretty old county), lots of families, truly excellent signs and people. I love the homemade heartfelt signs. People in their 90s, bravely continuing to fight the good fight. Nuns from nearby Dominican college. I am in total awe of all of them.
One boomer asked me if I was FBI when I asked to take his picture — fortunately his wife saw my college t-shirt and realized we went to the same SCWC (small Catholic women’s college) in the ‘60s. It was not full of FBI agents, they were however probably spying on the nuns.
Comment of the day was by a hippie Vietnam vet in an uncle Sam outfit:
“Fuck this shit.”
