How MSM Reports, but Fights Us: 'Nothing to See Here.' [1]

I suppose, with the super large turnouts yesterday at some cities, and widespread smaller protests encompassing all 50 states, the main stream media did need to mention it. This morning there appeared on CNBC’s site a story that started out as what seemed to be a comprehensive report on things yesterday.
It lead with the headline:”Protesters tee off against Trump and Musk in “Hands Off!” rallies across the U.S.” (although the “tee off” part could be belittling as it invokes comparison with Trump’s golfing — just a game.)
The article goes on to report on several of the nationwide protests with quotations from speakers at the events and several photos of sign carriers (only one showing a sizable crowd at the Washington Monument).
Sort of OK so far. But then it ends with this (bolding mine):
Activists have staged nationwide demonstrations against Trump or Musk multiple times since Trump returned to office. But the opposition movement has yet to produce a mass mobilization like the Women’s March in 2017, which brought thousands of women to Washington, D.C., after Trump’s first inauguration, or the Black Lives Matter demonstrations that erupted in multiple cities after George Floyd’s killing in 2020.
I was unable to participate, but that’s not what I’ve been seeing this morning in wide angle shots:
