Donald Trump and his Radical agenda are destroying the pillars of global Democracy [1]

After WW2 America had a choice, we could rest on our laurels and return to isolationism which had worked for a time, or we could continue our now more active role in Europe and the world. We decided to protect freedom and Democracy in the world from the threats it still faced. With the Marshall Plan we financed the rebuilding of Europe; most importantly the rebuilding of European democracy. It was the largest act of foreign aid in history. To say it worked would be a larger understatement than in world history. We defeated the Soviet Block not with guns, not with war, but with Freedoms and with aid. The better ideology won, we never had to build a wall to keep the people of our nation's in, like the Soviets had to do in Berlin. We grew economically at record numbers because we rebuilt the nations of the world, the Soviets having plundered the nations they fought against and never recovered. You do not kick a nation when it is down, you help it back up, and you make it into an ally. That is how you build a lasting peace.

Donald Trump and his cronies are risking not only global war, but the destruction of the very values millions fought and died for. Putin is no better than Imperial Japan, aggressively invading her neighbors, subjugating democracy through brutal repression, and starving out millions in Ukraine. To cut off foreign aid for nations under threat in Asia, in Africa, risks the future just like when we did not respond to Anchuluss of Crimea in 2014. We cannot allow another rump Russian state and another tinpot dictator like Putin to take charge, we must not abandon the world like Donald Trump wants us to. We will fight back and we will win.
