Canadian Pacific Kansas City, along with US based Lanco Group sold the Panama Canal railline to Denmark Maersk. One of the largest container ship companies in the world. Here’s another link from Reuters. This is ocean-to-ocean freight and passenger service along the Panama Canal.

Canadian Pacific and the Illinois-based conglomerate have equally owned Panama Canal Railway Co. since it was formed in 1998.

The acquisition "represents an attractive infrastructure investment in the region aligned to our core services of intermodal container movement," said Keith Svendsen, CEO of Maersk's unit APM Terminals.

How about those bull shit comments about taking over Greenland hit ya now? This power play is delightful to see.
