IAN: April 4, 2025 Cats, Wheelies, and peaceful meditation [1]

Happy Friday! Bit is on vacation this week, and we’ve been busy mowing down the yard in preparation for summer. We got a Toro gas powered, self-propelled lawn mower from lowes on store credit, because our old mower died, which is why the lawn got so long in the first place. It was about $370 or so, so we’ll have that paid off in about 6 months. Then we’re going to get a wheelbarrow. We’re also going to get some flowering bushes to support the bees and butterflies that were relying on our yard. Today though, we’re mostly resting, doing some cleaning inside, and probably blowing the leaves off the driveway before the cold front comes through with lots of rain on Monday. But that’s all minor stuff.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
