In stunning coverage last night, Arwa Damon, founder of INARA, and Dr. Tanya Haj-Hassan an American physician who volunteered in Gaza, spoke passionately on the current state of the war there. I’m guessing a lot of people here watched it. If you didn’t, you should make an effort to.



My wife and I were in tears, especially as the wonderful doctor described the situation for children and infants, their lack of facilities, medical supplies and equipment, the month long complete shutdown of food and necessities for the poor Palestinian people. You could see that she was on the edge of a breakdown herself. It’s a horrific situation.



My wife and I just can’t believe this is happening and yet I see no mention of it here. Are we so lost in Trump‘s maelstrom that we cannot care? Where is our humanity? What happened to never again?
