Adding to the Brain Drain foreign researchers being deported [1]

Hundreds of Russian Refugees that originally had legal asylum in the US, are now being deported back to Russia. I only heard of this because I subscribe to Meduza – a Russian newspaper in exile. Didn’t see this on any news outlets … this has apparently been going on since Trump hit office, including people who fled because they were publicly critical of the war.
The Article in Meduza is about doctor Petrova who is a researcher at Harvard. She is in ICE detention and due for deportation. She has however been publicly critical of the Russian war effort and her colleagues are trying to boost her case.
Sending anti-war Russians back to Russia is murder, and our government has been doing this quietly. Time to make some noise — more details on the case in the link, since I don’t want to take away from this wonderful groups reporting.
