Wisconsin: "You've got to accept the results" [1]

Last night in Wisconsin felt GOOD.
The WI Supreme Court race wasn’t even close — the NYT this morning showed Susan Crawford winning over Musk/MAGA-acolyte Brad Schimel, 55.1% to 44.9%.
Such joy when that checkmark went up!
Every last one of our 72 counties shifted blue relative to the 2024 presidential election:
All blue-trending, NO RED!
And State Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Jill Underly even beat the privatizer-candidate Brittany Kinser, who doesn’t have a teaching license but had lots of plans to funnel tax dollars into voucher-schemes.
There was something else, though, something that I didn’t even realize felt so GOOD and so NORMAL until mid-morning today.
Where was the BIG LIE? Where were the howls of skullduggery and foul play and WE WUZ ROBBED?!
Brad Schimel himself cut them off at the root, calling Crawford to concede shortly after the race was called and then schooling his supporters when they started to howl.

As the first news outlets began calling the Wisconsin Supreme Court election for the liberal candidate Susan Crawford, her opponent called her — to concede.
Minutes later Tuesday night, the conservative-backed Brad Schimel took the stage at his watch party to acknowledge the loss. Angry yells broke out. One woman began to chant about his opponent: 'Cheater.'
Schimel didn’t hesitate. 'No,' he responded. 'You’ve got to accept the results.' Later, he returned to the stage with his classic rock cover band to jam on his bass.
I don’t agree with Brad Schimel on, well, much of anything. But I am deeply appreciative of this, that he conceded with grace and set his supporters straight on this fundamental component of how democracy works.
You’ve got to accept the results.
