Texas measles cases are 422, New Mexico 48, Kansas 23, Ohio 10, at least no one else has died, knock on wood.

Colorado reports its first case, in an adult that traveled out of the country and brought it back. Relevant exposure areas are in Pueblo, the Southwest Deli and Cafe, 1873 S. Pueblo Blvd. from March 17-21 (did he work there?) and Southern Colorado Clinic, 109 S. Burlington Drive, 3:30 -6 pm on Mar. 22.

New Jersey reports two cases, possible exposures on the Amtrak Northeast Regional Train from New York’s Penn Station to Washington DC on March 19, and Capital Health Medical Center in Pennington, NJ on March 22.

In Pennsylvania, the Erie County Department of Health on March 30 announced that it is investigating a measles infection in an Erie County child. Officials said exposures may have occurred at a childcare center, a fitness center, and a clinic. The report did not say how the child was exposed.

it was reported Kennedy’s HHS has hired David Geier to study a purported link between vaccines and autism according to the Washington Post. Geier, who has been disciplined for practicing medicine without a license, has long claimed vaccines cause autism, and has published several papers with his father, physician Mark Geier, on the topic. David Geier does not have a medical degree or any advanced science degree.
