Are we going to make it? [1]

More than a few of you are scared and worried not only about now but about the future and that’s understandable. I would like for you to realize that you have in your hands, in your voices the power to affect change.

Will the road ahead be tough, sure for some time, the length of time depends on you though, how fast and how many stand up. Countries have rebuilt and changed after wars, earthquakes, destruction, and so much more, it’s not easy but it’s feasible and it depends on you.

Why am I so sure you will make it through? Well, it has to do with the very reason this menace was voted into office, comforts. Fortunately, and Unfortunately (for it has made you selfish as a country) people like their comforts, they like their way of life and while white supremacy is all fine and dandy once it affects enough of them and put them either in poverty or the brink of it, they will spin around faster than a spinning top toy.

Once that happens what you need to guard against is a recurrence of the same type of shenanigans that led us here. Mentalities have to change; Americans need to accept the fact that they are an immigrant country. That is not to say that you will get rid of racism in the near future or ever, but you sure can put a dent in it.

Once the doofus ignoramus and his ilk are gone, the rest of the world will come around, it may take a few years to build up trust again, and they will put guardrails in place (as we will also) to prevent the same in the future, but all hope is not lost, for the entire world knows that he and his ilk are responsible for this debacle and not the American people.

It’s time for you to grow up America and realize that when it comes to politics and elected officials you cannot count on integrity and honor to keep them in check. You need strong laws and amendments implemented, to stop this from ever happening again.

This happened more or less because you’ve rested on your laurels and been lazy when it comes to the exercise of your civic duties, you must use this time as a lesson to your children of what can happen when one neglects their civic duties.
