Hi,
I just want to share a quick post on my thoughts here in WI. The race for WI Supreme Court judge has been, well annoying. Susan Crawford is an excellent candidate and Schimel is just another typical white guy conservative who are dime a dozen out in that Waukesha area of the state. I would say 49 times out of 50 Crawford wins this in a spring election with lower turnout but it’s honestly hard to say right now. There are so many highly motivated dems right now but the right has tried to make this about Trump to get the people out that don’t typically vote unless he’s on the ballot. It could backfire or maybe not. Honestly hard to tell what happens but I suspect Crawford can win.
I want to say a big thank you to all those who help get out the vote by any means necessary including sending us the nice letters from other states. My wife and I voted this morning and then she helped my father go vote. Add in my brother and that’s 4 votes for the good guys.
The thing not being talked about is how Wisconsin is now in a cycle where we will have one of these elections every year for the next 6 years with current terms running out! If Crawford were to lose, a liberal could win it back next year. If Crawford wins, a liberal majority is ensured for 3 years. Honestly I’m so worn out by all the ads and musks abnoxiousness I might have to move to a different state.
anyway, stay safe, smile and keep the spirits up no matter what happens in todays election.
