I skipped right over Skadden capitulating on Friday and committing to $100 million worth of pro bono work against democracy.
Willkie, Farr & Gallegher has taken the same capitulation.
Once again DEI is still for taking down a law firm. He couldn't just be nice about it and not talk about all these things. He makes a point of it to be cruel.
If there was a board of directors, then he'd put one of his own DOGE people on it, but fortunately for them they're a partnership.
"...eradicating Partisan Lawfare..." What a joke. He has created partisan warfare with his using the Department of Justice as his club to beat everyone into submission.
"... restoring liberty and justice for all." Those words coming out of Trump's mouth make me cringe and vomit.
"The firm looks forward to having a constructive relationship with the Trump Administration..." they haven't got a clue that this isn't the end of it. Once you capitulate he will come back for more.
This makes three huge law firms that have caved to Trump. The second one to obey in advance.
Not a good sign.
