And RFK is working to kill us today, with his conspiracy obsessed ideas about science. I can only hope we survive, but the damage will be deep and long lasting, and the orange ogre has only been in power for 71 days! The Republicans, and their poorly educated and Fox News misinformed voters have always considered higher education, beyond basic literacy as a stumbling block to their propaganda, making it harder to sell their lies. America has become hostile to freedom of enquiry and science in general, not just the climate denialism required by the GOP funding fossil fuel industries. Trump is grossly ignorant about almost everything, and like Stalin seeks to destroy anything he does not understand. Unless more people and institutions stand up, America is a third-rate country for the foreseeable future.
