I have a new hobby [1]

When I go to protests I have been taking photos of all my favorite signs and banners and later making collages out of them. I try to fit 6 onto each image, figuring out which ones go best together, how to position them for maximum effect, what color background to give them. I give them a frame at the end to help it all hang together. I get to practice my digital skills while appreciating the humor, art, irony and outrage that go into creating the signs, and I can show the world what is being said without jeopardizing the protestors by showing their faces or clothes.

I’m sooo looking forward to this coming Saturday’s Hands Off protests coming to a town near me. I invite you to join me in recording this little bit of history and helping to get the message out on social media.
