But Zelensky was sooo disrespectful.

===

Exactly!

x For years the right has fed on conspiracy theories about the “globalist billionaire” Soros buying our democracy. Yet when Musk actually does it, it’s crickets.

Quelle Surprise.

x Many at USIP have told me from the start that the reason the Trump administration has gone after them so aggressively is because of their really beautiful building.

DOGE Is Trying to Gift Itself a $500 Million Building, Court Filings Show. www.wired.com/…

The documents reveal a DOGE affiliate is attempting to transfer the headquarters of an independent think tank, the United States Institute of Peace, to the government at no cost.

Putting this here in the AM. Let's check back at the end of the day to see what they actually did when it mattered.

I'm thinking Sen. Booker's fillibuster may have impacted the timeline somewhat.

===

Meanwhile, the House is still in session. Watch Newt Gingrich being called out as the hypocrite he is. Thank you Rep. Joe Neguse!

While Lauren Boebert...does what she does best.

x LMAO -- Boebert confuses Oliver Stone and Roger Stone during a hearing about the JFK assassination where Oliver Stone is a witness

Meanwhile, Cory's still going.

x As he began speaking on the Senate floor Monday night, Cory Booker said that he intended to disrupt “the normal business of the Senate for as long as I am physically able,” citing his belief that “our nation is in crisis.” He wasn’t kidding. 🔗 www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

x Cory Booker is getting emotional talking about the sacrifices Americans have made for their country, including his colleague Tammy Duckworth. And he's still going strong!

This is ten minutes long and absolutely horrific. Tim Miller breaks it down.

Here's the article from the Atlantic. An ‘Administrative Error’ Sends a Maryland Father to a Salvadoran Prison. www.theatlantic.com/...

The Trump administration acknowledged in a court filing Monday that it had grabbed a Maryland father with protected legal status and mistakenly deported him to El Salvador, but said that U.S. courts lack jurisdiction to order his return from the megaprison where he’s now locked up. The case appears to be the first time the Trump administration has admitted to errors when it sent three planeloads of Salvadoran and Venezuelan deportees to El Salvador’s grim “Terrorism Confinement Center” on March 15. Attorneys for several Venezuelan deportees have said that the Trump administration falsely labeled their clients as gang members because of their tattoos. Trump officials have disputed those claims.

===

And he's not the only one.

x Spoke to @isabelaalhadeff.bsky.social and Noah Lanard who have spoken to family members or friends of 10 people who have been sent to the El Salvador gulag. The number of Venezuelans who are totally innocent we sent there seems to be even greater than we imagined. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iz4r...

Dog, these people are evil. And incompetent.

x Further showing how sloppy and rushed all of this is, @josepagliery.bsky.social appears to have caught a major error in the government's notice that it claims it will provide people who are to be deported under the Alien Enemies Act; it cites a totally irrelevant law (and has typos in it).
