Hiya, venthooligans! How was your weekend?
I got back to town Saturday night, enjoying not having to be anywhere in a hurry.
We've had drizzle and sun, drizzle and sun alternating the last couple of days. It let up enough for some nice beach walks.
One highlight of my trip last week was seeing Niki de Saint Phalle's Queen Califia's Magical Circle in Escondido.
Another was a visit to Watts Towers. My photos can’t do it justice but you can read and see more about the Towers here. They are awesome.
Also quite wonderful was the work of an artist new to me, Nellie Mae Rowe, at the California African American Museum.
