My VA Privatization (Community Care) nightmare [1]

I am a disabled Vietnam Vet. Last year due to long wait times to see a VA neurologist, I was sent to a private clinic after an MRI diagnosis of MS for a EMG (Electromyography and Nerve Conduction Study).

Following the test on my legs, the private clinic doctor informed me I had Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS), which is 100% fatal. I scheduled a 2nd opinion exam with the actual VA. I had to wait 2 months for an appointment.

During that time I did not tell my family and constantly thought about my horrible death in 2-5 years. A much worse fate than bone spurs, especially fake ones.

Fortunately, a second test at the VA hospital was negative, to my relief.

Obviously, I am no a fan of Community Care and privatization.

Fire Musk and hire more doctors and nurses.
