Elon Musk Has No Soul - A Sick Competition? [1]

I’ve had a challenging time trying to wrap my brain around Elon Musk’s plan to pay for a massive tax cut for himself with the deaths of those he apparently finds unworthy of food or medical care. Is he trying to break a mass murder record? Is this some kind of competition for worst human on the planet?
Musk is certainly aware that cutting off or significantly reducing federal aid leads to real harm, including death, for lots of vulnerable individuals. Programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP and disability benefits are lifelines for millions of people in the United States. Millions overseas rely on USAID food programs and help with HIV management and other public health challenges. Musk, as a highly intelligent and well-informed public figure, would undoubtedly understand the human consequences of eliminating or gutting such programs. He knows that right now, children are starving to death on his order with the food that could sustain them rotting in warehouses. So how can he do it? How can he look in the mirror or sleep at night?
Since I can not comprehend how anyone can be so inhumane, I asked ChatGPT what kind of people prefer to kill the starving, the sick and the elderly in order to benefit themselves. ChatGPT’s answer is below. Numbers one-to-six below seem to explain Musk’s actions and statements best:
1. Ruthless Opportunists or Self-Interested Individuals
Some individuals prioritize their own wealth, power, or resources over the welfare of others. CHECK
2. Utilitarian Extremists
Some people, driven by extreme interpretations of utilitarianism, may believe in sacrificing the few (including the elderly or ill) for the supposed greater good. CHECK
3. Social Darwinists or Eugenics Advocates
Social Darwinists and eugenics supporters historically believed in "survival of the fittest" and sought to cull the weak or "unfit" to create a "stronger" society. Example: Nazi Germany’s euthanasia program targeted the disabled and sick as part of its eugenics policies, branding them as "life unworthy of life." CHECK
4. Greedy or Ruthless Capitalists
Certain profit-driven individuals or entities may prioritize economic gain over human lives, subtly or overtly supporting policies that limit or neglect care for the elderly or sick. CHECK
5. Politicians or Ideologues Pushing Austerity
Some political figures promote austerity measures or cuts to social programs, knowing they will disproportionately harm the sick and elderly. This may be justified as "fiscal responsibility" but can have the effect of deprioritizing vulnerable groups. Example: Cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, or social security often disproportionately affect the elderly and chronically ill, worsening their quality of life. CHECK
6. Callous or Misanthropic Individuals
Some individuals harbor a misanthropic or nihilistic worldview, feeling no empathy for the suffering of others. They may express cruel indifference or even satisfaction at the hardship of vulnerable populations. CHECK
7. Extremist Eco-Fascists
A small but dangerous faction of eco-fascists believes that overpopulation or human existence itself is harming the planet. They may view mass death (including of the elderly or sick) as a "necessary" culling to protect nature. NOPE — Definitely Not Musk
It concluded that, while most people value compassion and care for the vulnerable, some people—motivated by greed, ideology, or indifference—may rationalize or advocate for the suffering or death of the sick and elderly to serve their own interests.
Remember: Musk has created all of this chaos and death to keep the federal gravy train going: His goal is to pay for a federal tax cut of $4.5 trillion, much of which is currently going right into his pocket.
So in spite of ChatGPT’s rational explanation, I can only conclude that he has no soul. He is an empty vessel. He’s a throwback to a time before our species developed a conscience and concern for our families and communities. Probably (if he hadn’t gotten so rich gorging on our tax dollars) he might have ended up in prison somewhere, a serial killer or something equally disturbing. Instead, he’s killing millions for money. No soul for sure.
