Myanmar and Taiwan in crisis and the American response. I am so damn mad! [1]

Three days ago a huge earthquake devastated large parts of Myanmar and neighboring Taiwan. It’s so bad that even the reclusive military junta that is in charge in Myanmar has reached out to the world for help. Building fell, thousands were killed and injured, and the nations of the world are rushing to send what aid they can. And what is the “Greatest Country on Earth” offering? Damn little from what I can tell.

Which begs the question why? Is it because the american people don’t care? Is it because our national leaders don’t? Could it be that ONLY THE BEST in charge have no clue what to do? Or could it be that our international support agencies have been made so “efficient” that they no longer have the capacity to respond?

What will our leaders do for the future? Form a new department of “THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS” with our grifting evangelical leaders to solve everything?

I am so damn mad that we look pathetic when countries we deride like China and Russia are leading the response.

I am so damn mad that the agencies that shows the world we are trying to do good for more than ourselves have been shut down.

I am so damn mad that the same selfish billionaires are trying to shut down FEMA, which will weaken our ability to respond WHEN it happens here again.

I am so damn mad that the reason behind it is these greedy bastards are trying nothing more than to create the illusion that they are saving the country money, when in reality they don’t intend to SAVE that money for us, but stuff it into their own pockets.

I am so damn mad that everything they are doing to Make America Great Again is actually making us weaker in international influence, and causing inflation, job losses, breaches of our national security, and so many other things that they keep breaking.

I am so damn mad that even though my retirement day is tomorrow, I can’t find out if or when my social security will kick in, with the answer being impossible to get. The website says it’s being “processed” but even if I wasted half a day on the phone I know whoever eventually answered would have no better clue than the website.

I am so damn mad that people like my wife who have been on SS a long time have no guarantee their next check will arrive. Or that they will have no easy way to straighten it out if it happens.

I am so damn mad that IDJT can’t understand that his tariffs will hurt US, not THEM.

I am so damn mad my stock portfolio is going down crashing.

I am so damn mad that nobody in charge wants to offer anyone but themselves a chance to prosper and are breaking every damn thing that WE THE PEOPLE really need.

I am so damn mad that I will be getting off my ass next Saturday, going to my Capitol with a bunch of other people who feel the same way, and to let our leaders see that there are a lot of us unhappy about what’s been going on for the last two months.

I HOPE YOU ARE SO DAMN MAD that you will join me.
