Kristen Welker and Signalgate get under Donald's skin [1]

Donald decided to watch "Meet the Press" this morning and see Kristen Welker spar with Sen. Markwayne Mullin.
Mullin's previous claim to fame was when he challenged the Teamsters president to a fight during a Senate hearing. Calmer heads prevailed, but it's funny to watch.
Kristen hit him right at the beginning of the interview about Signalgate. He said nothing was revealed and went straight into a deflection mode rattling off all the crimes of the Houthis. Suddenly, it becomes why didn't the Biden administration do something. Mullins: "Why are you focusing on this Signal chat. No war plans were given out..." She showed Mullins a screenshot of the attack plans.
Kristen: "Senator, if that's not classified information, then what is?"
Mullins was loud and defensive and just dug himself a bigger hole and brought up, as they love to do, the Afghanistan withdrawl. Nevermind that Trump caused it. It's always Biden's fault.
Trump was happy as a clam, and I've never understood that colloquialism, to see Mullin lie so well.
"A GREAT job by Senator Markwayne Mullin on beating back Kristen Welker's, and the Radical Left's Witch Hunt, on the never ending Signal story."
Well, it wasn't such a "GREAT job." Now the Signalgate story is a "Radical Left Witch Hunt." He hasn't had an occasion to use that in a long time. He must feel right at home now. Never ending story. Sounds like a good movie title.
Then you can just hear the whine in his voice, if he was saying it out loud, "They just don't stop --- Over and over they go!" C'mon Donald. They got caught with their hands in the cookie jar. Why don't you just admit it? Then it would go away, as long as Hegseth and Waltz and maybe some others resign. This is never going to stop until some of them do.
"Meet the Fake Press..." Cute, Donald. Not cute enough.
"... explain how sucessful the attack was..." Sure, if you want to include the civilians like women and children.
"Sleepy Joe Biden should have done it YEARS AGO." This happened a week ago. Joe wasn't president then, unless you're not telling us something.
"... only being used because we are having the most successful 'First One Hundred Presidential Days' in the history of America." Where's that deed to the bridge you want to sell me? This is the most disastrous 70 days there has ever been. Even presidents that had eight years straight haven't been able to do as much damage to the country that you have in such a short time.
Churchill said, "History will be kind to me for I intend to write it." Your term in office, which I am predicting will end in six months, will go down in history as the most disastrous choice the American people ever have made. As Tommy Lee Jones said in "Men In Black," "Damn, what a gullible breed..."
"...they can't find anything else to talk about." Considering it's the biggest national security scandal ever by the entire top of the government, why not? Bigger than Watergate, bigger than WikiLeaks, bigger than Iran-Contra. I'm running out of things to compare it against. Maybe not as big as Watergate. That wasn't national security. It was just criminal. This is national security and criminal, and it could still take out a president.
"The Fake News Media has the lowest Approval Ratings in history..." I don't know about approval ratings Donald, but everybody's watching the news now. Two biggies. Signalgate and Tesla Takedown, and you can't do anything about either of them. Well, you'll try, but we know the truth.
Trump is backed into a corner. The Republicans are backed into a corner. Even MAGA is going "What the f*ck?" You can't even get Fox News to sweep the story under the rug. Each lie you or any of your sycophants put out just makes it worse.
Democrats have a noose they can throw around your neck. They can't say enough about it. There's a dozen clips up on YouTube just with Senator Mark Kelly ripping Hegseth and the others apart.
Is this one monumentous fubar enough to do a Trump Takedown? I was going to say that we can only hope. But we can do more than that. We can take some comfort that our Democratic representatives are on the offensive. They haven't been in that position for a while.
Trump is like all bullies. He likes to dish it out, but he can't take it. That's when you hear him whine.

So, I went to take a look at the post to see how many likes and retweets there were after reading one of the comments. And he had to do a whole new post! Same subject. I've done it enough work on Donald today. I don't want to do another post on this.
"Signal Witch Hunt." Sounds like a great title for a new series. Maybe a game show.
"... and look, I'm President..." Well lah de dah, doo dah day. Nobody cares anymore. Everybody hates you.
He's really rattled because he didn't call MSNBC, MSDNC.
