Elon Musk's bone-headed scheme for destroying Social Security [1]

No we won’t, Elon!

An analogy: Elon Musk wants me to chop off my own right arm, but I like my right arm and have no desire to chop it off. So Elon schemes to inject something under my skin to cause me to feel intense and chronic pain in the arm, hoping that if the pain is unbearable, I will eventually come around and chop it off.

I would rather work on alleviating the pain and keeping my arm! So his scheme is not likely to work. And the same goes for Social Security: If it gets badly damaged, most Americans would want to have the damage repaired; not get rid of it.

Elon is not as smart as he thinks.
