Now that the United States has elected a lifetime grifter and criminal to the highest office of its land for a second time, our country can no longer be considered the leader of the free world. Nope. In fact, that title may have been abolished a quarter of a century ago when the 2000 election was stolen for George W. Bush from Al Gore, maybe even a couple of years earlier when Bill Clinton was impeached for his affair with Monica Lewinsky just out of Republican contempt (a clear warning to the American people where the GOP was going).

I am 200 percent open to passing the torch to Canada or another beacon of democracy such as Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Japan, or Australia. We simply cannot have it anymore, nor do we deserve it. Maybe we should take Lady Liberty down and hand her over to them in the process. Or back over to France.

ALSO, A BIT OF CLARIFICATION…

Yes, those were some pretty strong words from Prime Minister Mark Carney, but please keep in mind that his words were not aimed at the American people. They were actually directed at that tyrant in our White House, along with his so-called "administration" and Elon Musk. When Canada said that they are done with America, they meant that they are finished with their relationship only with our government . Their connections with the American people, particularly those of us who support democracy and common sense, will NEVER change. This holds true for any other Western country in the world. They do not have a grudge against American citizens in general.

In fact, when Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced that he would slap tariffs on energy exports to the United States in retaliation to the Orange Menace's stupid policies, he also mentioned that he feels sorry for the American people who have to endure this. His exact words were, “I love the American people.”

Prime Minister Carney does not feel any different.

Do not take Carney’s words personally as an American citizen.
